Autopause in cycling workouts
Hi, I have been using a couple of applications on my Android phone (Sports Tracker, Endomondo, Runtastic) over the last couple of years when I came to iCardio.
Autopause.
Cyclists are usually carrying their stuff in the back pockets of the jerseys while hiting the road, therefore an autopause feature is essential not to reach for the phone on every stop.12 votesPlanned for Android. Completed for iOS and has been part of iOS for some time.

Heart rate zone graph improvement
Would be good to show time in each zone on the graph (and % of time), so we can workout the correct amount of time in each zone.
Plus as I have the voice turned off - it would help if the zone I am in is highlighted, so when near the border, I know which zone I am in.

Add adjustable countdown between pressing Start and workout clock start
I need about 10 seconds to set my phone to standby and get it secured before I start a run or a bike ride. As it is I have to push Start and then try to do stuff with the phone (without dropping it) while I'm jogging. I imagine a countdown up to 20 or 30 seconds would be sufficient, with the final 3 to 5 seconds of countdown audible, just a stirring "Start!".

Allow users to upload custom photos for workout types
Some of us are not big fans of the photos used for the different activity types. It would be nice to allow us to customize them.

Access cadence data from Wahoo TICKR Run and X
The Wahoo TICKR Run is a heart rate chest strap with added running smarts. It measures your running form across three dimensions (vertical, horizontal side-to-side and horizontal forwards-backwards) to create a picture of what they call Running Smoothness.
it tracks cadence without the need for a shoe pod, vertical oscillation and ground contact time.

Allow auto-lap based on heart rate movement
It would be great if an option to set up auto-lap based on heart rate zone change, so that if for instance as part of HIIT, the voice option would let you know that you are on your target zone and start a lap time. Same with recovery phase, once you have reached your recovery heart rate, another lap would start

allow two interval times for the voice notification
I'm using iCardio on android and want to do interval training on an outdoor run (walk/jog) but I want to run longer than I walk, e.g. 5m run, 2m walk.
If there were two interval timers that triggered after each other I could build pretty much any interval programme I wanted

more description and voice cues for advanced cardio (and other?) assessments
I did the advanced cardio assessment with spinning today. The 'coaching' needs some work; it would be useful to have a voice describe what to do as it switches intensity (easier than having to look at screen) and a more descriptive overview in the written introduction. When I pushed the start button, its not obvious that I was supposed to not start spinning. And as time goes on, I'm wondering even more what I'm supposed to be doing. A written description that says, "you'll start out just resting for 2.5 minutes, then at the cue, increase your intensity to zone…

Race against (or compare to) "ghost"
This is a standard feature in video racing (driving) games and it really helps to improve your performance because you have constant feedback on how you are doing compared to a previous recording. In this case it would just show a difference between your current distance/time versus the chosen recorded workout's time at the same distance. Obviously there will be a bit of difference between recordings because of GPS inaccuracy, so it's not super-duper precision, but it should give a good enough idea without having to spend an entire race doing math in your head, or carrying a huge list…
