Fitbit Linking Issues
Since Fitbit and our apps are integrated at the server level, sharing should be automatic as long as your app has been synced. Syncing is fairly automatic in iOS but sometimes need to have the Sync function run in Android.
Please note that workouts only share to Fitbit after linking has been complete, but it will import up to one year of Fitbit data. The workouts share to the Fitbit diary as long as you have used the same username and password when linking to Fitbit.
Please confirm the data has gone from your device to the Fitbit.com servers. The flow of data is The flow of data goes "Device (> sync to >) Fitbit app (> sync to >) Fitbit.com (> sync to > Fitdigits. It has to show up first on Fitbit, then, with a little delay but not too much, show up on Fitdigits. Note that Fitdigits, per the terms with Fitbit, only updates steps / checks for updates in any given day twice in the current day, then trues up the number if necessary the following day(s).
Please also confirm that you have used the correct Fitbit credentials when linking to Fitbit. Sometimes people end up with multiple accounts and don't realize it, and the data is linked to a different account than the one linked. To see the Fitbit username, on the Fitbit portal (where you can see the steps entries), click the gear icon in the top right and click Settings. Look for the email in your profile.
We encourage people to try linking on the web / desktop if it didn't work in the app, or in the app if it didn't work on the web.
