How do I pair with my Polar H7 Heart Rate Strap or other Bluetooth Low Energy HRM?
To pair your heart rate monitor:
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned ON in your device. You can access through iOS Settings -> Bluetooth
- Make sure the HRM is NOT paired within the devices bluetooth settings. If it is, remove it.
- Place the heart rate monitor around your chest. Be sure to lightly wet the electrodes. This allows the sensors to have an easier time reading your pulse.
- Open our app and tap Settings
- Then tap My Sensors
- You will see a list of available sensors that we are compatible with. You will see an option for Bluetooth Smart. Swipe the slider to the "ON" position.
- A screen should appear saying "Connecting to sensor via Bluetooth Low Energy".
- Once it has connected with the heart rate monitor you are ready to workout with your Bluetooth Low Energy Heart rate monitor!
- Wet the Electrodes: Wet the electrodes with water or saliva on the heart rate monitor to increase connectivity.
- Reset Bluetooth: Go to the iPhone Settings and turn off Bluetooth. Then turn it back on.
- Manually Close Your App: Exit the app and then double tap the iPhone home button. All open apps will display on your screen. Swipe up on Digifit to close. Relaunch the app and try pairing again.
