allow the app to run in the background
pretty much every other fitness app out there will run in the background saving battery by not constantly requiring the display to be active. Digifit needs to incorporate this as well. It is pretty frustrating in the course of a workout to not be able to switch apps without killing Digifit's tracking

I dont have this problem. Even received calls, and once call eas completed, irunner was still recording. What ios cersion do you have ?

Switching apps (and answering a phone call) does not kill the app in my case. Did you check your background application setting ? in iOS8, Settings -> General -> Background App Refresh -> Enable
