Unfortunately Suunto uses coded and a closed ANT transmission with their heart belts so they are not compatible with mobile devices.

    Is it now (2015) possible to use Suunto's Smart Sensor with Digifit, since this HRM is Bluetooth enabled?

    I'm looking for a HRM that can store HR data while swimming, then upload to the Digifit phone app once the activity is complete. It's my understanding from their website that the strap is compatible with "smart Bluetooth devices." Thank you in advance for your reply -- and any suggestions you might have for a Digifit-and-swimming-friendly HRM, should the Suunto not be an acceptable device.
